Office Reopening Information

Yale Podiatry Group continues to strive to keep all current CDC protocols and guidelines to be able to treat our patients as needed. We will start taking in-office patients again for podiatry treatment starting June 1, 2020 and along with that, our office will be adapting appropriate measures to ensure the safety of our patients and staff.

Procedures we are implementing to help our staff and patients:

  • We ask that if you feel sick or have a cold, to not come into the office at this time.
  • We ask that if you have traveled recently, to please stay home at least 14 days after your return to reduce the likeliness of any possible infection.
  • Every patient coming in will have their temperatures tested.
  • We will be only booking a total of one patient on the hour, and one patient on the half-hour (for ex: patient A will come in at 11 am, patient B will come in at 11:30 am time slot, and so on). This will help reduce the amount of people in our office at one time, and allow for enough safe, physical distancing.
  • We will be disinfecting the treatment chairs before and after every patient, using disinfectant spray to help kill any unwanted bacteria/virus/germs.
  • All staff will be washing their hands before and after patient sessions and interactions as required by the CDC.
  • All staff will be wearing masks when in contact with patients, and while cleaning.
  • All treatment rooms and doorknobs/ light switches/ all high-contact surfaces are being disinfected after each patient, as well as when needed, no less than twice an hour.
  • We are disinfecting our floors daily and emptying our garbage daily.
  • A service will be sanitizing the entire office once per week using CDC and EPA application methods.

What to expect if you have a scheduled appointment:

  • Our office will be using a text serviceto communicate important messages in regards to your appointments. Please make sure we have the most up to date contact information prior to your appointment.
  • Days prior to your appointment you will receive a text message asking you to complete a Wellness” form. This can also be submitted on our website using the link above.
  • The morning of your appointment you will receive a text asking you to stay in your vehicle and text our office when you arrive for your appointment. If you are a new patient we will ask you for the make and model of your vehicle and bring paperwork to you. We will let you know when to enter the building.
  • Masks\face coverings will be required.
  • Only the patient will be permitted to enter the building for their appointment. If you require an aide or translator we will ask that they complete a wellness form as well.
  • We will encourage you to use hand sanitizer upon entering the building and will take your temperature.
  • We will not be accepting cash at this time. We have installed a contact less payment system, you may also request to pay your copay in advance by calling our office.
  • If you have any changes to your insurance you can email the front and back of your insurance cards and photo ID to {{BusinessEmail}} to expedite your visit.

As we will be booking limited appointments per day, please let us know when you would like to set up your appointment so that we can accommodate your time request as best as we can! Please understand that we will be triaging every appointment request, and emergencies are our priority.

We look forward to seeing you again, and thank you for your assistance in helping us all stay well together.

With much appreciation,

YPG Staff
